was looking forward to my first prom, but it turned out rather...bleargh. i looked fugly that night, more fulgy than ever & i guess you can imagine my mood for the night. even though they kept assuring me otherwise. my hair's all curled & i could no longer recognise myself with the make-up & all. in short, the night was ruined. the food was bad, the mood was bad, the music was bad...end. no pictures. i prefer regular me, your plain Jane, over dolled-up version. but both still fugly anyway. i really cant recgonise the girl in the mirror staring back at me. if, like they said, make-up makes anyone beautiful, then i guess in that sense, i'm dead hopeless. didnt answer his call that night.

10th Dec '06
another class BBQ, but this time, at my place! it didnt rained, so i guess it was pretty okay. during our last BBQ, HongYue, our hostess, was tekan. her face was in the cake. this time round as hostess, so it's like my turn!! hahaa! they planned it while my back was turned, & the next thing i knew, we were taking class foto, & really near the pool. i was dragged to the middle, & noticed that there was no one standing behind me. started wondering out loud, "wait a min...you all arent going to push or throw me into the pool or smthg like that right??" & they assured me that they're not going to do anything so childish & that we were just taking pictures. & then, sPLaSh! in the pool. Andrea fell in with me! [LOL] they were wondering if i could swim befor they pushed me in, & whether i'm more than 1.5m...okay i cant swim, but i'm definitely more than 1.5m.
HongYue, LeAnn & Shuan are great cooks. there were some hiccoughs, like the wrong bbq pit & cloudy weather conditions, but other than that, good food + good company, it was still rather nice. i love catching sessions like these. hearts! some fotos. send fotos on the bbq pls!! or just post it onto class blog
