post-exams/semester
personal reflections
this has been my first taste of university life, or rather, NUS life
probably the best advice given, from HuiLing, is to mug hard right from the start & get into the momentum asap
second, from Lester, first semester, take it easy with regards to exam results
with regards to the foto collage:
604 - examination number
took this particular one b/c there were writings (encouragement) on it
& on that particular day, 3 papers on one day & this encouragement just left me all fuzzy inside
there's some warmth in this bug big school
somewhere
red voodoo toy - me
the one with the pin stuck there
nice
work extra hard
extra extra hard
HuiQin asked: are you happy here?
i say,
i love the Jap food stall & the first store (YongTauFoo?) & western stall is pretty okay too
i just wish MacDonald's at FASS instead of BurgerKing
it'll be hot-fudge sundae or McFlurry or strawberry sundae or milkshakes everyday then!
& it'll be easier to bring food to library
not class nor lecture
not exactly polite to eat during lectures nor tutorials
i say,
there are always nice & not-so-nice people
& i've met both
on the whole, people i've come into contact with are relatively okayy
i say,
the lifestyle is really stressful & i'll most probably need some time to adjust to it
not very attached to the school
i say,
bye byee Clementi station & interchange
till next semester then

-----------------------
first day of vacation
my room
tidied everything
& by everything, i mean even my wardrobe
usually, it'll just be study table hahaa
unwanted clothes + bags + jeans + shorts + dress, bye byee out you go
else mum will start yelling at me to get clothes hanger too if i keep buying new clothes
a big part of the day was spent filing notes, throwing away scrap paper, walking down to the recycle bins at the opposite block & up again
pens that no longer work, markers which had dried up
& hello
what's this?
[flip flip flip]
ohh so here it is
the comic strip we drew together back then
looking back...we are so super lame LOL
i can't believe we took so long to draw so little comics
& ohh.
the ex-stuffs
i threw it away without thinking today
but seems to regret it & went back down to the rubbish dump
it's not there anymore
& no, i didnt cried
just went, "oh...."
& so many more things i came across
old letters we used to exchange in primary school + cards + our nickname all signed on one small card + the jigsaw piece
put up x'mas deco, which is actually just the christmas stocking i've been using for years since..since really long ago
the new ones aint as nice as the one i have :)
mine has usagi-chan on it!
& i've stuffed put Stitch into the stocking!
the whole thing looks super kawaii now! hahaa
okayy that sounded childish
& anyway, i've added two x'mas hats - on Milo's computer + on my usagi-chan
3 more deco trinklets to go..
the house still looks plain
family not exactly celebrating christmas-christmas
but i just love the festive - esp the giving to the kids
i'm too old to be sitting on Santa's lap & asking for Christmas presents
still wondering what to get for JunFeng - my little sweetheart
what kinda toys should i get for a 2 years old boy?
hmm
off to Toy'R'Us
i'm so outdated on what's new with the kids
toys to them, is like fashion too
comes & goes so quickly
feel like getting Lego blocks..but too young right?
hmmm
& Christmas is used to be a good excuse to stay out late
not forgetting all the goot food!
i know what to get for Milo this year..DONUTS! hahaa
& hopefully he won't get me food again this year
almost exploded last year
someone said this: it's fun to watch a pig explode
last year
this year, i'm just not going to join in the game
this year Christmas, i want to do something different
whenever i walk into my room now,
it seems so strange
strangely tidy
okay i admit my room wasnt exactly neat in the past, especially on the outside
but messiness got it's own coziness!
hahaa
just not made for the conventional role of housewife
but at 12pm today, the room was really messy from all the unpacking
maybe it's just my messy nature hahaa
well, everything's really neat & tidy (by my standard) now
just have to wait for inspection from the Empress Dowager later
seriously, that feels like someone else's room
on the bright side, i've got new zo-cards pasted all over the shelf
at this point, will ask why i'm always re-decorating the room when tidying up the place during vacation
cracking my head with regards on what to paint
the season of joy
