the past few days had been great.
slightly earlier before the-past-few-days not so.
it's a long story, but here goes..

for the past few days, ate alot. like really alot.
Thurs night, went for supper at al-ameen with Arael.
naan and ... chicken tikka masala (?) sorry if i mispelt it, but it's quite similar to butter chicken. just a little more spicy
Friday afternoon saw me rushing down to meet my girls at Bugis for dinner.
had omu-rice and it was damn good!
but the prices of the foodcourt was exhorbitant!
for my omurice, by usual Japanese restaurants standard will be about 10$/+, while it's 5$/+ here.
i guess it is okay...but still..

kind of saving up for a getaway, new laptop, and next semester hostel (even though i know that it's going to be real stiff competition)
just dont want to depend on my parents
mum did offered to get me a new laptop (MacBook) but on the condition that i can't stay in hostel.
but, no way.
hopefully it'll get to her that i don't need to depend on her financially at all.
and that she has no control over me after that.

but, i digress.
Bugis wasn't much fun. perhaps wasn't really in the mood.
decided not to return home after we part, but instead to head back to hostel.
bus was along the road to Vivo when i recalled teddie telling me about this awesome skirt that i had been looking for and that there were new stocks (M-size) for the shorts i'm looking for too at Forever21.
alas, i couldn't find the skirt at all.
as for the pair of short, there was M-size, but after trying it on...
S-size fits better, but the colour that i had initially been looking out for wasn't available.
settled for another colour which was brighter.
was hunting for the metal pencilbox when Arael texted.
went to Del Mar.
chilled.
it felt really great and the place was awesome.
the sky was beautiful, full of stars.
1...17..19..32...47..
i lost count.
would have loved to fall asleep under the stars
but we went back to hostel after that.
mugged and drank ribena (peach-flavoured; tasted so weird) vodka.
&hey. can't seem to hold my liqour as well now.
felt so strange after just half a cup.
will love to go club one day after exams, before moving back home.

& this post is getting long.
fastforward.

on Saturday, met up with Lydia for lunch at Munchie Monkey.
the food's really nice & really missed passionfruit soda!
shopped at Vivo again (that's like my fav place now); Zara, Esprit, TopShop, Forever21 &...can't rmb the shop's name.
there was this ongoing fashion runway, and the models (females) looked like mannequins. one of the male models caught my attention.
and yes, because he was wearing red top with a sling bag.
haa hadn't changed.
ran into Arael too. who was looking for CandyEmpire.
wonder...

on Sunday, met up with QianLing
planned to surprise HuiMin at her workplace
BUT, she took off.
called her up instead and went off to Tiong and met up there.
caked at BengawanSolo. chocolate cake, and coffee cake.
had old-school kueh. the green-red-white kueh thing.
birthday dinner at Ajitei Plaza Sing.
the food was nice, but really expensive.
main course, ala carte, desserts, sushi, sashimi.
i'm so broke now, that i guess i'll have to go hungry for the next week to come.
refused to tell my mum what we had for dinner.
she'll nag.

oh& had my first sushi today.
i had no idea there's mayo on sushi.
that was so gross.

walked to Heeren, and to Kino.
there's this Japanese spongecake stall (mini-stall) at Tiong that we saw earlier.
had thought we won't be staying long in town and could just get the spongecake for brother on the way back.
it taste nicer when it's warm.
but it was 2100 when we were at the bus-stop.
couldn't stand it.
will probably be at hostel for the rest of the semester, & it had been quite some time since we last saw those spongecake.
flagged a cab and rushed down to Tiong and ran into the mall.
alas, it was sold out.
i almost cried.
this guy came over and offered me his.
but...brother loves the plain kind better and this guy's white chocolate spongecake.
he insisted, and just brought it back.
as expected, brother didn't really liked it.

feeling quite disappointed...

oh& bro got me pizza. just ate it despite having all that for dinner.
i'm like scary...
